Neart Na Gaoithe offshore wind farm joins the EURIECA® programme

This week, members of Siemens Gamesa at Neart Na Gaoithe (NNG) offshore wind farm are mastering life saving interventions on the Trauma Resus EURIECA® Practitioner course in the port of Eyemouth.

NNG offshore wind farm is located in the outer Firth of Forth, 30 kilometres north of Torness, and 15.5 km off the Fife coast. It covers an area of approximately 105 km², and is jointly owned by EDF Renewables UK and Ireland’s Electricity Supply Board (ESB).

When operating in such remote environments, it’s essential to be prepared for medical or trauma-related emergencies.
