Warrington Councillor Paul Warburton writes :
“Thanks to Harrison Rylands, former Head Boy at Chapelford Primary School, who was inspired by family tragedy to complete a sponsored hike raising more than £3,000 to pay for defibrillators to be installed within the community. Eleven-year-old Harrison completed the trek up Snowdon in May this year with his mum Louise and Dad Martin.
Thanks also to Vini Kneale, the Chapelford Farm Pub Restaurant and the Trauma Resus team for the CPR, defibrillation and trauma training session this morning – it was really excellent !
Hopefully, the skills will never need to be used but it’s reassuring that we have the defibrillator and trained staff at the pub”.
