The QA Level 3 Award in Education and Training (QCF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification that provides Learners with the knowledge, understanding and skills required to prepare them for teaching in a wide range of contexts.

This qualification can be used towards other qualifications at the same and higher level.

The QA Level 3 Award in Education and Training (QCF) qualification has been specifically designed to be an introduction to teaching for those who work or would like to work in the further education and skills sector for, e.g. Further Education (FE) Colleges, Independent Training Providers and/or Local Authorities.

Course delivery

Course Delivery:

The course is delivered via a series of lectures and scenarios. Candidates are assessed by completing 3 assignments and are practically observed and assessed by delivering a 15 minute microteaching session.

Candidates are not required to renew this qualification, however it is recommended that they keep up- to-date with current practice in teaching and learning through regularly participating in personal development opportunities.
