We’re delivering Immediate Emergency Care (IEC) requalification courses this week to Scatsta Airport Fire and Rescue, on the Shetland Islands … You’ll be hard pushed to find a UK Airport further north than this one !
Always great to see the team up there.
We had a great time on Sunday at the Seven Woods in Westbrook, Warrington, where they are trying to raise money for a community AED.
On the day we set up a teaching station, showing people how to perform good CPR and use an AED. Thanks to everyone for coming along !
John (white shirt) had a cardiac arrest in the area not too long ago, and his son Mark successfully defibrillated him. This shows the benefits of good CPR and early defibrillation.
These skills and devices are a necessity for every community.
On 25 August 2019, the Seven Woods Pub in Westbrook, Warrington is raising funds to purchase an AED, which will be installed outside for public access in the community.
But do you know how to use one ?
We’ll be there all day, training people how to use an AED and perform good CPR.
If you’re going to do anything over the Bank Holiday weekend, why not learn how to save a life ?
See you there !
