National Fire & Rescue Trauma Conference – Burns Care Pathway (led by Kristina Stiles)

We are delighted to announce a session at the conference entitled “Burns Care – Roadside to Rehab“, with the session being led by Kristina Stiles, Burns & Plastic Surgery Clinical Nurse Specialist.

Kristina is a burns and plastic surgery specialist nurse with 19 years experience. She specialises in burns first aid, education and out of hospital burn care, has an MSc in Burn Care, and now works for Leigh Day, a legal practice which represents individuals who have been injured, discriminated against or had human rights abused.

She is a co-author of the “Saving Lives is Not Enough” report, the founder of “The Burns Game”, and the author of “The Family Oops and Burns First Aid“.

Kristina’s session will focus on :- Burn aetiology Burn trauma pathway Factors known to influence patient’s outcome First aid for burns First responder’s place in burn survivor’s story.
