EDS HV takes on EURIECA™ Awareness Course

Congratulations to EDS HV who have recently completed EURIECA™ advanced first aid and trauma training.

Demonstrating a further commitment to the safety of their teams, EDS HV support staff have also completed their first EURIECA™ Awareness Course (EAC).

This EAC is designed to give marine controllers, co-ordinators and other support staff an understanding of the EURIECA™ programme, what their teams’ capabilities are, and how they are prepared to respond to emergency situations on site.

EAC attendees gain emergency first aid skills, including management of bleeding, basic life support, and the use of an Automated External Defibrillators (AED). On completion of the course, they will gain an HSE Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) certificate in addition to their EAC certificate.
