The introduction of PAcT Kits gives organisations the opportunity to re-evaluate the training and medical equipment provision within their venues, and offer staff a basic awareness of what the PAcT kits do, and how best to deploy them.
As the experts in advanced first aid, Trauma Resus offers several optional training solutions to supplement your PAcT kit provision, with different options offered according to the budget and risk profile of your organisation. Training is aimed at ensuring you have competent on-site responders who are able to assist the public in the event of an emergency, and to supplement the work of the emergency services.
Option 1 : PAcT E-Learning
This E-Learning course explains the content of the PAcT kits, and how to use the equipment provided. It is designed for staff within your premises to build awareness of the content and locations of this lifesaving equipment.

Option 2 : Emergency First Aid at Work (including PAcT)
The 1-day standard Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course, with additional focus on PAcT response and the use of equipment contained in the kits.
A short, sharp training course teaching the necessary skills to deal with life-threatening emergencies in the workplace, at home, or in the leisure environment. Conforming to the Health and Safety Executive requirements for EFAW, the course focuses on skills development backed by sound theory, and is delivered by subject-area specialists.

Option 3 : Immediate Emergency Care (IEC)
An intensive 3-day advanced first aid course, which goes above and beyond the typical First Aid at Work (FAW) standards.
Delivered by instructors who work at the cutting edge of pre and in-hospital care, its aim is to reduce preventable pre-hospital deaths by training learners to identify and treat life-threatening emergencies and prepare casualties for rapid evacuation to hospital.
An optional 2-day ‘train the trainer’ bolt-on allows instructors to deliver IEC and EFAW training within their organisation under a Trauma Resus licence, and with continuing support from ourselves.
