Restart-A-Heart Day, Golden Square, Warrington

16 October, 2021

Today is Restart-A-Heart day. When someone collapses and stops breathing, it’s time to get hands on with CPR, and give someone their best chance at life !

Anyone can have a cardiac arrest at any time … And cardiac arrests haven’t stopped during COVID-19. This year’s focus is on restoring confidence in the public to administer CPR whilst adhering to COVID-19 guidelines.

Join us at Golden Square Shopping Centre in Warrington today, where we can teach you all you need to know. CPR can save a life, and anyone can learn how to do it.

When someone collapses and stops breathing normally, it’s important to quickly call 999, perform hands-only CPR and use a defibrillator. Performing immediate CPR can double the chance of survival in many cases. Hands-only CPR reduces the risk of catching an infection, and without this intervention the person may quickly die.

Restart-A-Heart day is held every October, when thousands of people across the UK and worldwide work together to increase public awareness of cardiac arrests, and increase the number of people trained in life saving CPR and defibrillator use.
