We are delighted that Trauma Resus has been shortlisted as a finalist in the GWO Safety & Training Awards, and not just in one category, but in two different ones. Each shortlist includes the top 5 entries for that category. Winners are to be announced at “Electric City”, WindEurope’s annual onshore and offshore event, which will be held in Copenhagen in November.
In addition to delivering training, the Trauma Resus EURIECA™ (European Remote Immediate Emergency Care Advanced) programme supports organisations to implement the GWO Enhanced First Aid (EFA) standard with clinical governance, consultancy services, telemedicine and the provision of medical equipment.
Dr Peter Barrett, Consultant in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care, and Medical Director of Trauma Resus stated :
“We are extremely pleased to have been shortlisted as a finalist for such a prestigious award, which recognises the outstanding contribution made by the whole Trauma Resus team to the renewable wind industry during one of the most challenging periods in history. We are incredibly proud to work within an industry which so clearly prioritises the safety and well-being of its teams, and values the contributions of external experts”.
