Room at the Inn – The Y Project

We usually post out some chocolates and a card to our customers at Christmas time, but this year we decided to do something a little different and donate to “Room at the Inn – The Y Project”, Charity no 1176629.

This helped cover the 24hr running costs of Christmas Day, which includes supporting homeless and vulnerable people in Warrington, providing overnight accommodation, daytime services, meals and more.

This new charity is taking over services from the old Warrington YMCA, and provides daytime services to homeless and vulnerable people, and also a 10 bedded night shelter. Dedicated staff and volunteers support people through very difficult times and help them to find a better future.

Thank you to “Room at the Inn – The Y Project” for the incredible work they do for the local community all year round, in what has been the most challenging 12 months.
